Hey gang! Soooo, my Sheva turns the big 1year on Feb. 20th and I want to give her a special treat! Any recommendations for special treats?? From a butcher, etc?

My baby's birthday was yesterday, the big 5, and we went to Petsmart today and she got two new toys and Pedigree Dentastix (which are her favorites)! You can also buy speciality treats at small pet "boutiques", which are a fun way to celebrate!

for most of Boys 13 birthdays I always took him to the Ice Cream store for a cup of soft Vanilla Ice cream. Some times he'd ask friends along and it would be a parrrrrty. But now since being on this forum I found out it was bad for him. Made him lose his hearing and his eye sight. He loved his ice cream more than anything! even me. Trying to take Boys ice cream meant loss of a finger or two. I can just see him in Heaven, Laying under a softy Ice cream machine with his mouth and the spigot wide open. I miss him so much. Like the saying goes " If there ain't no dogs in heaven send me to where the doggies go".

Diesel usually gets a new toy and a bone from publix, I don't know if you have them where you are but they have real bones that are cooked somehow and specifically for dogs he LOVES those so they aren't really special for his birthday but then again he hasn't had any in a while, and even at 5.5 years old he will still chew on a bone or rawhide for HOURS.
