Rosco always goes after squirrels, but no matter how hard he tries he just can't catch them.

Opie has never given chase to anything, but Grace (westie) has caught and killed 2 birds and she chases squirrels. She has not caught one yet. I hate to see anything killed, but I don't scold her because that is her God given instinct.

Henry always tries to catch birds. He never has a chance to go after anything else since I'm usually always with him when we go out. Once a guy had a pet squirrel in Pet Smart when we went in to buy treats so I'm glad he doesn't know that he is supposed to chase them yet. I don't know why a guy would bring a pet squirrel to a place full of excited dogs though, that's just asking for trouble.

Awww the poor little bunny. My boston literally came nose to nose with a bunny about a month ago in our yard and all he did was wag his tail. My smaller elderly terrier X on the other hand came racing across the yard and is still searching for this bunny a month later. I'm not sure what he would have done with it had he caught it though. He caught a squirrel years ago but was so shocked to have finally done it that he just froze and then the squirrel got away (it was in his front legs not his mouth).

I kinda want our Doc to chase and kill the bunnies in our backyard. That way I do not have to keep telling him to stop eating rabbit poop all freaking day.
