Default Other pets?
Old 07-14-2009, 01:58 PM   #1 (permalink)

For the few of us who are crazy to think bostons aren't enought in our lives, what other creatures live with you?

I have a 19 year old black capped conure, Igor (Eee-gore)

He doesn't have much color, but here is most of it.

Two chinchillas, Mr Wolfie WInkers the male (standard grey) and the one that doesn't really have a name but we call her Mom (homo beige). The story with the mom is we got her and the people we got them from really didn't name them, but their little like 3 year old called them mom and baby, (she came with a 3 month old kit but it died about two months after we had her).

I really want a a Timneh African Grey, but that won't ever happen.

So what else do you guys' have?

I have a two year old Bearded Dragon named Zeus. I've had him for close to two months now, he's so much fun and quite smart. Heres some pictures of my scalekid.

Zeus had some slight stinkeye going on, I woke him up when I put his salad in his tank.

Outside getting some sun.

He's such a poser lol.

This is my favorite of Skidmark Sr. He even won a photo contest with this one! We were heartbroken when we had to put him down, but we still have Bloo and we got to get Skidmark Jr. (puppy in picture)

Uma is an only child right now but we're planning on getting a kitten in the fall. I love cats!! My husband mentioned that maybe when Uma is about 4 or 5 we'll get another dog. I do want a different breed though, I like a variety.

Zeus looks like a cool pet! I love the picture of him in the sun.

I'm sorry you had to put Skidmark down. But Skidmark Jr sure is cute!

We have cats out by us, only one is tame and it is always around. But Celtic is a cat killer..... the reason we got him actually. My grandparents were 'dogsitting' him and there was duck in their yard (fenced in in the city). Celtic proceeded to run after the duck and jump in midrun and he caught it by its feet. But then he broke through their fence. Sadly he has to be leashed because of the ...stupid cats.

What a great thread, love that bird in the first post and really love the beardie! I gotta get some pics, they are on the camera just not my computer but I have 2 cats, a pit/mix(kinda dumb), a hedgehog, and a red tail boa. I would love to add more but i will need to purchase a zoo first.
