Default First block of new quilt
Old 12-17-2009, 06:17 PM   #1 (permalink)

This is the first block of my new quilted wall hanging…. “A Day in the Life of a Diner Booth”….The name of the diner is Sam and Ella”s. There will be 12 blocks, with different people sitting in the same booth over a twenty four hour period…. one block for every two hours in the day.

I know the clock is missing the hour hand…that’s because I want to make all the blocks before I decide what time it is one each block. I think the time in this block will be 10:00am… Cops are having donuts while there is an APB out for escaped convicts. The convicts are running passed the widow while the cops eat their donuts. A lot more detail will be added when all the blocks are made….put together…and quilted.

Okay…I’m off work on my very tired waitress….time will most likely be 4:00am.

Thanks for the ideas some of you have already given me. I will be using them. I can still use ideas….If you think of something funny for one of the block..post it.
