Default anyone have a pomeranian
Old 01-16-2010, 07:59 PM   #1 (permalink)

Hubby says I can get 1 more pup once i save enough $ for purchase and vet bill for first year. I absolutely love dogs. They make my life so happy. Can't get another bt due to the size. Physical problems make her difficult to handle so I will stay at 1 bt. Thinking hard on a pom. I have a yorkie, chi and of course there is Sophie. Wondering how Sophie would be with a pom. She is great with Puff the chi. Just thoughts and opinins pls. Thanks

I'm not a fan of 'fufu' dogs.
But if that's what you like...

I like "fufu" dogs. I have a yorkie and and a long hair chihuahua along with Sophie. I wanted a dog I could pick up with no problem due to health issues. Fell in love with little dogs. Then wanted a bigger dog, so we picked a BT.

I think she'll be fine since she already gets along with other dogs in the house.

I don't consider dogs to be 'fufu' or otherwise. They're just dogs, and Iove them all.

Good luck!

My friend has 2 poms and Tank loves chasing them haha. One is the same age as my BT and she doesn't want to have anything to do with him, the other is a few months older and places chase with Tank, but won't really play with him like he would enjoy.

Poms can be very cool little dogs. I like them and their big dog attitude!! Your BT should be fine. The only concern I have is poms can be pretty small, like 5-7 pounds. Could your Boston hurt it by accident if playing too rough?

I'm no help. My first in-laws 40 years or so ago had a pom pom. It peed all over the place. I know it wasn't exactly the dogs fault but it king of left a bad impression on a young impressionable me

Im not fond of Pom Poms Hair, I find at the dog shows Sally stays away from furry dogs, but that could just be her!
