As most of you know Sadie hates Ollie. We have been crate rotating for a year and a half. This is working but I’m trying something new …this has given me a little hope that maybe someday they can learn just to tolerate each other. …I’m not asking them to be best friends…just live in peace together.
I put a baby gate in the office…now rather than being in a crate…One dog is in the office with me…while the other is free to roam the house. We rotate office time just like we did with the crate. For the first time ever I have pictures of all three of my guys sitting nicely together. This may not sound like much but it is!!!! Just sitting this close to each other is a bit of a break through! Of course I do have cookies in my hand, but believe me this is still a break through..Sadie has never allowed Ollie to be this close to her. Sadie is the one who has the problem…she fights Ollie if she can get at him ….then Ollie will not back down and he flights back…it is not pretty!
Ollie really does not want any part of a fight ….ever. Even if Dixie ever gives him a hard time …He does what I call… tucking butt and runs away.
Here are the first and only pictures I have of all three together…well… Dixie is there she is just not going to look at the camera…she hates that camera.

I have a little heater under my desk to keep my feet warm….Ollie loves the office ..because he is a heater hog,,he wants his heater.
He really just wants in the office to be near his heater.

Ollie is a sweetheart…he really is a gentle giant…(all 30lbs of him). Like I said he runs from trouble. If Sadie would just leave him alone we would never have a problem….She is the only dog he does not run from, if she starts anything with him…he will fight back with her.
John takes Ollie with him everywhere, the dog park, Wal-Mart, Lowes, the Pet Store…Ollie never has a problem with any other dogs…just Sadie.

Great idea. It's nice that Sadie and Ollie will tolerate each other with the gate between them and maybe eventually you can take away the gate and they won't even know it.

Olli is 30lbs! I love looking at pictures of him because Murphy looks so much like him. Murphy is now 23lbs and only 9 months...maybe he will get to 30 as Olli is.
It’s a miracle.. pictures of all of my guys together!!!
