I just got done watching Animal Planet and saw this terrible Puppy Mill situation that happened back in 08 in Tennessee! What made me want to post it was the sad images i saw of Boston Terrier Puppies standing only 2 weeks old in 2 inches of feces. It made me cry!!!

700 animals found in Tenn's largest puppy mill bust

Authorities in Hickman County have raided an apparent puppy mill, rescuing nearly 700 dogs and making it the largest puppy mill bust in Tennessee history.
The animals were seized Wednesday from a 92-acre farm called Pine Bluff Kennels near Centerville. No one was arrested.
Officers said dogs were crammed into cages and crates littered with feces and had little or no food and water.
Other animals found on the property include cats, goats and parrots.
Injuries included broken bones, skin conditions and eye injuries. Some animals were found dead.
Veterinarians were assessing the animals' health.
Investigators believe the breeder, Patricia Atkinson, was selling the dogs online.
Atkinson was previously convicted of three counts of animal cruelty, but the conviction was overturned because of an improper search warrant.
A Humane Society spokesperson says they hope for a successful prosecution this time if criminal charges are filed against Atkinson.
Authorities said they were led to the farm by a tip.

I just don't get it.....it breaks my heart and what is even worse is this woman is just going to move on and do this somewhere else because its sooo hard to press charges and make them stick. As animal lovers, we need to fight to change the way the law and the court system looks at animal cruelty!!

That's too bad for those animals. Atleast they discovered this farm and took care of it. This lady must be disgusting.

I believe locking her in a cage to live in her own feces for awhile would be appropriate. Then inform all other breeders what could be in they're future should they decide to run they're kennel in the same manner. I implore all of you to report any such places you might think are suspect. Yea let me know where the lynch mob is gathering !!

Well said but 'lynch mob' is a little hardcore I think.....how about a friendly meeting where both parties can discuss the issues....oh yeah....I'll leave that up to the court system.

That is horrible!!!!!!!!!! Some people have no value of life and it's just sick... I am so sensitive when it comes to animals.. I agree with lockinging these people in cages and see how they like being tortured... Sorry I don't hold my tounge but that's just sick..
